    • Operating at up to 97% thermal efficiency, Modine’s Effinity condensing unit heater features the highest efficiency available in North America for commercial and industrial gas-fired unit heaters, which will dramatically lower energy costs and CO2 emissions. This industry-leading efficiency is a result of the coupling of our secondary heat exchanger technology with our robust tubular primary heat exchanger design.
    • The Effinity guards against mold and maintains uniform wall-to-wall temperatures with consistent air circulation.

  • Separated Combustion & Power Vented (PTX/BTX)

    • Modine’s PTX/BTX is specifically designed for environments with hostile atmospheric conditions, such as chemicals, high humidity, or negative pressure. On these units, combustion air is brought in from outside the heated area, either from outdoor air or from an adjacent room, eliminating the need to use contaminated indoor air for combustion. The unit can also be installed in power-vented applications if needed.

  • Horizontal Electric Heater (HER)

    • Recommended for use in buildings with low ceilings are few obstructions, the horizontal electric unit heaters models are equipped with horizontal air deflector blades to adjust airflow either up or down. The HER is normally placed around the perimeter of the building so that the air stream from each heater “wipes” the wall to produce a blanket of warm air along the building’s outside walls where heat loss is greatest.

  • Vertical Electric Heater (VE)

    • Modine electric unit heaters provide a wide variety of options in solving comfort-heating problems. Each is designed for long heat-throw, uniform heat-delivery, and reduced maintenance. Modine model VE vertical electric unit heaters provide a wide variety of options in solving comfort-heating problems. Each is designed for long heat-throw, uniform heat-delivery, and reduced maintenance.

  • Power Throw Electric Heater (PTE)

    • Power-ThrowHigh-velocity horizontal unit heaters are ideal for heating hard to heat areas that require a greater heat throw. Power-Throw units are ideally suited for blanketing doors that frequently open. They are equipped with horizontal air deflector blades to adjust airflow either up or down.
    • A single Power-Throwunit heater can often be used to replace as many as three smaller horizontal delivery units, thereby reducing equipment, installation, and maintenance costs

  • Explosion Proof Electric Heater (HEX)

    • Modine’s HEX explosion-proof electric unit heaters are designed for hazardous industrial locations where the potential for explosion exists due to the presence of flammable gases, vapors, powdered metals, or dust.
